The 4 Big Asymmetries In Your Business
What if there is a way you could double your practice by doing less!? I know, I know - BIG statement, but hear me out.
I was lucky enough to be introduced to a mental model early on in my business journey. The framework taught me how to achieve more and work less. Don’t get me wrong, hard work is absolutely required to make your chiropractic practice a success - but working smart will get your clinic to a whole new level (and free up a ton of which you can spend however you want).
The question is - what is exactly smart work? What does that even look like? This is my definition:
Smart work is when you know how to isolate the highest value activities in a given business and understand which lever to pull in order to achieve the greatest ROI (return on investment) with the lower amount of energy expenditure. (please read this sentence again until it makes 100% sense).
It’s what I call ‘your business asymmetries’ framework. And this concept isn't new. However, many of the practices I work with get overwhelmed each day with the number of tasks and the lengthy to-do lists they have. So what ends up happening is two things:
1. The owner gets stressed out and eventually doesn’t enjoy the business anymore. 2. The practice growth suffers due to lack of focus on what produces results.
So, let’s change that.
Let me share with you the one universal principle of business growth that you absolutely need to obsess over (in order to watch your practice grow and thrive).

I’ve studied many chiropractic businesses. I’ve personally applied numerous systems and procedures in my own clinic. I’ve spent thousands of pounds on coaching, masterminds and workshops… and here is, by far, the biggest lesson I’ve learned about business. Not all business activities are created equal.
This is where the ‘business asymmetries' framework comes in.
Would you agree with me that when it comes to your practice growth - you can spend hours on end working on things without seeing any significant growth / results? Changing the “colour scheme on your website” … “rotating the logo by 3 degrees on that new banner you created” … “being your staff’s new therapist on a Monday morning” … “looking for the cheapest cleaning company in your local area” blah blah blah … Trust me - we’ve all been there. But not any more!
From now on - I need you to think in terms of ‘business asymmetries”.
What are the main 3 or 4 things that you need to focus on in order to ACTUALLY move the needle in your business! And when I say “focus on”, I mean - become obsessed about!
Let me share with you the 4 biggest asymmetries you need to know about when it comes to ANY chiropractic business:

If you apply this diagram - your business will change for the better. You will impact more lives. Make more money … and have more fun along the way - I promise you!
The smaller triangles represent the effort/energy required (input) and the larger triangles represent the disproportionate results you will get from each task (output). After studying dozens of different chiropractic business models - these are literally the only four things I obsess over.
1) How do we get new patients from different channels repeatedly and predictably.
2) How do we get patients to start care consistently.
3) How do we get great results and retain clients
4) How do we hire and build fantastic team culture
That’s it!!!
Now, I am not saying it’s easy. In fact - it’s hard. It requires consistent work. But once you’ve worked hard for a year, two or three … you need to shift your focus from hard work to smart work (especially if you know how to implement systems in place and build teams).
